One of my heroes is Elon Musk because he has enough balls to take the toughest problems mankind has. He has an insanely schedule and he often sleeps on the couch in his office because he wants to be there to solve any problem that might appear. He puts up to 100 hours of work per week (maybe more?) to pursue his dreams.
Simon Sinek 🙂 he’s my biggest inspiration, inspired me to choose my study course, inspired me to start a blog, changed my outlook in terms of what companies I’d like to work for and so much more! 🙂 I can just identify myself with him really well! 🙂

Yes, he’s an awesome dude! I’m a big fan of his work and especially of his WHY. He is the reason I created My WHY page.

I don’t know if hero is the right word, but mine is Joey Jordison (metal musician). I was fascinated by him for too many reasons to list here, but at the time that fascination drove me to turn my life around and do things I never knew I was capable of. That was a long time ago, but it’s still the closest thing I got to having a hero.
I like this question… Going to take some thought on my part.. These questions have been a challenge the last few days! Which is awesome making me use my brain, haha! I’ll be back!
The Hong Sisters! Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran. They are amazing South Korean screenwriters. I have no aspirations to ever become a screenwriter, but I have seen much of their work and I am never disappointed. I never really have a person that I “have to meet,” but I would like to meet and interview these two!
Awesome! What would be the first question you would like to ask them?

I would ask, “How do you develop your ideas for your screenplays?”

That’s a great question! I hope that one day you manage to ask them in person.

Thank you. Me too!

Nice! There is also a great website called ‘Masterclass’ where famous artists etc teach things like screenwriting. ☺️ just though I’d tell you! 🙂

I haven’t yet heard of them, but you sound like they inspire you! 🙂

have you ever been in a situation when you are asked a question and you answer immediately since its obvious? well that’s how i wanted to answer this question but then before i typed the answer(which is still the same) i went to my english dictionary and googled the word hero just to get a better definition to justify my answer( ha-ha i think that’s why your blog is actually called “pointless overthinking” if you get what i mean!). so anyway the definition i picked was(straight from my english dictionary)- its a person who possesses great BRAVERY and carries out EXTRAORDINARY deed. THAT IS DEFINITELY MY MOTHER! NO-ONE CAN EVEN COME CLOSE TO HER BEING MY HERO. i would like to explain why but that’s my tiny space i would rather not share. GOOD QUESTION THOUGH!
Yep, I get what you mean! I find it amazing that you consider your mother as being your hero. I believe we are not grateful enough to and for the parents we have (of course, there are some that are not that great).
My mentor or nearly ten years. He has influenced me professionally and personally. I have tons of respect for him. He has always allowed me to be myself while giving me gentle advice instead of insisting I change like others often do.
That sounds like a great mentor! I believe that a mentor’s “job” is to guide ourselves to find our path, not necessarily to make us change. And this is different from a mentee to another.

Do you define the hero value by his hours or his outcome? Interesting hero!
I think it’s because of his insane commitment.
By both! The hours create the outcome. Actually, I’m more impressed by the intention.
A great leader, visionary, and someone who continuously proves critics wrong. Great hero! 🙂

That sound great! Being inspired to turn your life around go to territory we never thought we could go to!
Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Yes 100%
That’s great to hear! Glad you have a mentor like this!

Burt Reynolds, May he Rest In Peace. Football beginnings to one of the biggest stars in the movie business. Plus he had a pretty sweet mustache.
He was an awesome person!

Your aunt is the definition of “hero”! I’m so happy for you that you had the chance to learn from her!
A hero is someone who died to save your life. My hero is Jesus…
Jesus is someone we should follow.
I have a few. But for someone who’ve been through a rough patch lately, I came up with this ‘selfish’ realization. “I am my own hero.”
