You probably know this guy. He’s the creator of A Song of Ice and Fire book series after which the TV show Game Of Thrones has been made (you can read more about him here). He has an amazing imagination, which he used to make our lives better by provoking us to enter a world both tough and wonderful.
I find him successful because he does what he loves in his unique way. Even though it was hard at the beginning, he pushed himself through the hard times and he eventually found a way to make writing his full time job. I aspire to do that too someday. I love how he said he writes what he would like to read. Probably this is why his writings are so awesome. He tries to do his best because he would like to read the best.
You can find below a video made by Evan Carmichael with his view about Top 10 Rules for Success that George R. R. Martin applies in his life.
My favorite rule is rule number 3 (Love what you do) because I believe that this can bring so much power and desire to push ourselves forward so we can get better at that. We’ll do our research and we’ll go for it badly because that’s what we want to do for the rest of our lives (at least, in theory). Which rule is your favorite one and why?
> Game Of Thrones…
I prefer P.G. Wodehouse.
A.A. Milne and J.M. Barrie are not bad too.
I haven’t heared of them, but I’ll check it out! Thank you for sharing! 😀
P. G. Wodehouse. Did you see Jeeves and Wooster series with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry?
Milne – Winnie The Pooh.
Barrie – Peter Pen.
Of course Wodehouse – my hero and model.
Absolutely self-made fellow. With good life approach.
There is J K Jerome also. Very good too.
I haven’t, but you sparked my interest!

> Love what you do
The longer I live the more feel
the great wheeze in life life is to be jolly well sure what you want
and not let yourself be put off by pals
who think they know it better than you.
