Stress and anxiety. In bad periods it tends to have an effect on sleep, the upside however is learning a lot about yourself and how to deal. In good periods I am almost thankful for this, it’s making me stronger and more able to deal with all the things life throws at you down the way.

Well, if a 20+ pages analysis of the usage frequency of swear words in a TV show as an indicator of character archs can be considered useful then yes, though mainly that was just for fun.
In the right circumstances pretty much everything can be useful I think, it’s about finding the right circumstances for you and about maintaining a balance between those and the kind of circumstances that does not require or indulge overthinking. I haven’t found that balance yet, so that’s why it becomes a problem for me.

Well in truth first off is how is it already 550 already …then How thankful I am that God has given me another day to breathe and take care of my family.
Yes and in fact seek to continue it throughout the day for even the smallest of things. It changes how I seek things, situations and ultimately the world.
I never use the snooze function! My alarm goes off at 5.30am and another @ 5.40am. And I’m up by 6!! And keep cribbing about the precious half hour I lost! Almost every day!

I find that my day goes much better when I am up as soon as the alarm buzzes. Reading, meditating or simply sipping my tea with the birdsong just before daylight is a joy I hate to miss! Hence the cribbing.

I’d say 6-7. I go to bed with the ability to have a full 8-9, but I don’t sleep straight through. Lots of tossing and turning.
