These are what I work on giving myself. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t… ‘tis life…
You live. You learn. You do better next time on occasion so that you can obtain confidence and happiness which give you freedom.
Specially praying, reading, running 🏃♀️, writing, talking with friends and family, and other things give me the chance to “give me this”… it is all about how I handle myself which gives me the preferred outcome of confidence and happiness which lead to freedom.
Dancing or playing air guitar and drums. Bike rides at the shore. Being home. Loving and playing with pets. Laying on the beach. Sunday morning back roads with the top down on a warm summer morning.
The bike rides at the shore and laying on the beach are only a few times a year. Sunday morning rides are every so often. Being home and pets as often as I can. Dancing to music in some way almost every day. I forgot to add, the drive home from work makes me feel free.

The fact that I can choose to live my life free from my parents’ decisions.
Feeling loved and accepted and safe are merely invisible chains and collars that connect individuals to one another. It gives one the semblance of freedom, when really it is another form of restraint masked as constraint.
Music, dancing, leisure, pleasure, art, food, enjoyment, without the worries of “who is going to provide? Who is going to do this or that”
Childhood and lack of responsibility allow for those desirable moments that allow one to taste that delicious “freedom”.

Every day, I say to myself – survived another meal. Always stressed about what the next day’s dinner for my family. So after I whip something up from thin air, that’s what I say.
I write about what pops into my head or things that have happened in my life that have made lasting impressions. I like random thoughts best.

Realising that I am. That I can choose what I want to do / be. It might not be a good idea to implement some of those choices (like staying in bed rather than going to work) though 😉
It’s hard for me also. Lol! But I think I know one or two people that I am completely comfortable around. In the case of me, I believe that I am so used to being judged, that being judged is now the expectation. So I assume that I’m being judged when I might not be. 🤷🏽♀️ it’s quite a conundrum.
Actually many times. But often times it’s me that contains myself. I tend to make decisions that I think other people will like. Hope I can be more independent.

Being accepted and loved freely. Plus time in nature
I do them on a regular basis, depending on the season. In the summer time I take my interests outside, while in the winter time I don’t run that much, but I compensate it with other types of movement and with dancing.
Travelling alone is a luxury for me. I am satisfied if I can do it at least once a year.

The freest I’ve ever felt is when I whittled everything I own down to 3 boxes, my computer, and my cats. I asked myself, “Do you own your things or do your things own you?”
Confidence and happiness.
What gives you that?

When I’m out taking pictures
What kind of pictures do you love to make?
I love doing vintage-cars, abandoned houses, landscapes, and macro.
Music
I have to agree with you. Music is my ultimate escape
same here!
YES! Music can indeed bring freedom!
Agreed. Music is great at freeing us.
When I have no debt.
When is that?
Love
Towards what?
Life
Running, belly laughing, time with people I love, music
Great list! Do you have the time to run daily?
3 days a week. But that may change as in 2019 I am goin to train for a full marathon!!!!
Driving at night with the music up and the window down, allowing the cool air to hit my face.
I also love driving, especially on empty roads. That’s one of the things that bring me freedom.
Being outdoors 🙂
Doing what? 🙂
Hiking, walking, walking my dogs, really anything
Running for extended periods.. but running in general is fluid freedom for me, physically and mentally =)
Have you tried other type of exercises to see if they have similar effect?
Dancing or playing air guitar and drums. Bike rides at the shore. Being home. Loving and playing with pets. Laying on the beach. Sunday morning back roads with the top down on a warm summer morning.
How often do you have the chance to do any of those?

The fact that I can choose to live my life free from my parents’ decisions.
True freedom!
That is an important decision to make. When did you do it?
When I laugh is when I’m most free. Because I’m quiet, if something tickles me, watch out!😂😂
In this case, I hope you laugh all the time! 😀
I do!😁
Reading a new Dean Koontz novel. Going for long walks. Tussling with my puppy which is aptly named….Chunk.
So can you have a daily dose of freedom? 🙂
Of course!
A combination of factors that are not necessarily markers of freedom.
Such as?

How come you always stress about dinner with family?
When I write…
Awesome! 😀
Writing
Do you have a favorite topic to write?
I write about what pops into my head or things that have happened in my life that have made lasting impressions. I like random thoughts best.
Realising that I am. That I can choose what I want to do / be. It might not be a good idea to implement some of those choices (like staying in bed rather than going to work) though 😉
We choose what we can be 🙂
Being around those who accept me as I am without judgement.
For me, it’s very hard to find such people. Or maybe it’s just in my mind that I cannot find them 🙂
It’s hard for me also. Lol! But I think I know one or two people that I am completely comfortable around. In the case of me, I believe that I am so used to being judged, that being judged is now the expectation. So I assume that I’m being judged when I might not be. 🤷🏽♀️ it’s quite a conundrum.
Focusing on getting much more than I have now
What would you like to have more?
Reading! Now if only I could read 24/7 that would be the ultimate.
If we could read 24/7, our world would be so much different that now.
Indeed😊
I feel speaking my truth allows me to feel free!
How often do you feel like speaking the truth? Are there any circumstances that stop you from doing it?
Taking a long drive where I get to put on my own personal concert
How long does that drive needs to be so it can have the desired impact?
When I can make my own decision and be responbile for it!
How often are you constrained by others or by the environment to make certain decisions?
Actually many times. But often times it’s me that contains myself. I tend to make decisions that I think other people will like. Hope I can be more independent.

Being accepted and loved freely. Plus time in nature
Time in nature can have a therapeutic effect.
When I sit under a huge tree with gentle wind I feel lite and free
Awesome sensation!
Thank you☺😃😃
Have a good day
Thanks! you too! 😀
Gonna give this to writing
Favorite topic?
Mostly do random short stories of events that come to mind
Nice! 🙂
Reading, writing, walking..
In that order?
Not as such.. in general any of them..
The sea. Just sitting by the water (in the water during summer) it’s like… My overthinking kind of shut down and i cam breath
I feel you! How often can you sit by the water?
I live in a coastal town so pretty often
Awesome!
Love music…😍
Awesome! 😀
😊😉😁😃
Music, laughing, reading, writing, hanging out with my friends ☺ what about you?
Same as you with reading and writing. Traveling, driving and long walks also make me feel free
Not having to clock in to a regular job and making income off of doing the things I & my children love
I would love to have that too! 😀
It’s easy, just quit or get fired! 🤣
The action itself is easy. The consequences are not that easy to endure.
Yeah well if you’ve experienced hardship multiple times you tend to learn something different each time, like your faith grows
What makes me free is spending time with myself and doing stuff I like I have pleased others all my life so it’s my time
I totally agree with that! Do you manage to do that daily? Also, how do you like spending your time to yourself? What do you like doing?
dancing, playing games and sports, drawing, swimming, running, travelling alone
That is a great list! How often can you do it?

Interesting! And your answer was?
