Personally, praying can help. Although, I think dressing up and trying to prove yourself to others is not the way to go. I struggle with self image, and I don’t even have a good answer to this question… 😂🤷♀️
To be completely honest I was in my second one and feeling great when I commented on your post. Hence the lighthearted comment😆😆

Personally, I think we know we’ve reached a state of full self-synthesis when we feel there’s nothing we can do to feel better about ourselves, because we already know we’re no better or worse than any beautiful, unique blade of grass.
Yes, that’s right! But we need to work hard to get to that level of self-fulfillment because even though it’s real, we often refuse to see it due to low self-esteem, low self-confidence, the fear of other people’s opinions and so on.
Praying to God and Our Savior Jesus Christ is the place to start finding happiness within ourselves. Being honest with them will bring the changes you desire.
In all honesty Im not sure there is anything I can do. I feel pretty broken, destroyed, crumbling to pieces and without hope.
I pray and beg for mercy but… There is none. I have let everyone down. I wish God would take me. Then I wouldn’t be a burden.. Maybe my family wouldn’t be starving right now.
It’s a rather long story. This past June, I got caught up in a situation where I felt compelled act in defense of my wife and three year old son. I was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. My family already below the mean poverty line in the United States, could not afford an attorney. As such I have been dealing with a public defender who is at best not qualified. I can not in good conscience agree to a plea that would not only take me away from my wife and children for four months, and also take away the piddly 600 dollars I bring in a month. Thus it is going to trial. As it stands this moment my family will suffer the next 7 days with little to no food. (There are no funds) I genuinely feel bereft and as if I have lost all favor with God. Thus my answer.

When feeling down about myself I like to go for a walk with my dogs. If I can’t make it outside, I will try and relax with a book.
At the end of the day, find things to be grateful for. And I like to “congratulate” myself when I “accomplish” something like I don’t like to exercise so when I do I cheer myself up, when I study it is the same. I try to find things to make myself proud of!
My true strength is in the heart, not in the mind.
I used to be very competitive, but now I care most about the connection with the others. If I can make a difference in someone’s life only with a hug, a good word or with a nice gesture, is enough for me.
I feel best about myself when I am not in a competition of any kind.

I’m so sorry you have to go through this tough situation. What happened that brought you to this situation?

How often does it happen to feel down?
Prayer, exercise, self-care…
That’s great! Daily practice will create a beautiful life 🙂
Take better care of myself nutritionally and physically.
Have you set up a plan for that?
Somewhat. Right now I’ve started my goals list for 2019. I plan to blog about a goal per day starting Jan 1 and hope my followers hold me to task.
That sounds very interesting! I’m sure you’ll keep it up!
Get exercise and plan out my goals I want to achieve
What would be the first step in that plan?
Being with other people.
How do you feel when you’re not with other people?
I love alone time but start to miss quality interactions with others.
Give myself a break, ease up, let it go, lighten-up, breathe, stop over-thinking; to name a few.
How often do you do it?
Not as often as I’d like. I’m getting better.
At the end of the day, find things to be grateful for. And I like to “congratulate” myself when I “accomplish” something like I don’t like to exercise so when I do I cheer myself up, when I study it is the same. I try to find things to make myself proud of!
That’s awesome! You’ll have a great mindset if you continue doing it! Congratulations!
Expressing gratitude for what we have and making someone smile!
Awesome! How often do you do it?
Being kind and warm with the people around me.
That is nice! How come this makes you feel better?

We do, but do we do them? Awesome list! 😀
I do lol
Work out
Is there anything stopping you?
No my own laziness
