Build Your Confidence

How many times you’ve stopped yourself from doing something just because you didn’t believe you can do it or that it is possible? People are not born with 100% confidence. That’s a mixture we develop in time and it’s vital for our success rate in life.

We do things without 100% confidence all the time, but I’m sure we can do a lot more if we pump those levels up. Being confident doesn’t mean being arrogant. The second thing involves a closed mind that doesn’t allow new ideas to flow in whilst being confident means that you know what you got and you also know you can learn anything in order to get where you want to go.

In my opinion, having confidence means you believe you can do something regardless of the way of doing it. Maybe you’re not prepared enough to do it, but you can do something about that. You can start preparing so you can go forward with your plans, dreams or goals. Having confidence means that you know where you are and you also know you can take a stand to improve your life, your future. And all it takes is doing step after step and acknowledging your contribution to completing each of those steps. It’s not luck. It’s YOU.

I love Dean Graziosi’s approach about this, especially because he claims he was in a not so great place at some point in his life. I resonate with the fact that whenever you do some sort of proposal, you need to confident about it. Think about a sales person trying to sell you something. If that person is not confident, will you be convinced? It’s just like Zig Ziglar, Jordan Belfort and all those people say: we’re all sales people (ok, they are/were selling sales trainings and workshops so it makes total sense why they said that).

How big of a change would be in your life if you were more confident?

  1. Confidence is somewhat of a hermeneutic circle. It arises only through the experience you feed it. However, it’s nourishing aspects can only come from an inner strength and courage to face the unknown and a willingness to let go of the need to be in control. Thank you for sharing this.

      1. Setting up new goals and trying to get them, also working out, trying to forget the words what if, most of my problems based on looks, so all what I need it to continue training and to improve!
