4 years ago my younger brother died suddenly in a motorcycle accident (he was hit by a car driven by someone high on drugs). Ever since then I live my life based upon this principle, because, tomorrow really could be the last day. Essentially, I do what makes me happy. If something doesn’t make me happy, I don’t waste my time. That goes for relationships, jobs, activities, etc.
I thought about this one and I really don’t have an answer. I’ve made it a thing to only live in the moment and let the past go and let the future happen. So I guess for me it would be whatever was happening in that moment.
I spent a lot of time living with my past and not letting it go. It turned me into a horrible person. Then I started clinging to anything that looked like a good future which would just disappoint me when it didn’t happen. So I decided today is the day and that’s all that matters!
Have lunch with my family (best friend included) and spend the rest of the day cuddling with my cat and reciting all my passwords to my mom (email, games, blog, facebook,Instagram) and tell my best friend to post a funny status update on my account when i die.
I should be honest with the question: I always live in the present moment; with an awareness that next moment may or may not be for me. Thanks for your question.
I’ll thank everyone who has been a part of who I am now and tell them I love them. Then I’ll go for a drink with the people closest to me. Then go home and stay with my family, do the things we love doing together until I breathe my last.
Speed travel to Norway. And I haven’t listened to Mark Knopfler live. Sex. And drink a Bushmills special. And said a fu#*! you e-mail. Or two. Meh. Probably Netflix and none of the above
Well, for all of them to be done, I need to travel to Norway early morning, meet a handsome, nice Norwegian, have our Bushmills and stuff and go to Mark Knopfler’s concert(who happens to be touring Norway). I can skip the emails. Doable.
The same thing I do every day, live life and follow my dreams… 🙂

I am a solid loose-tea drinker. I find a lot of joy in each cup. Also, love nature walks, music, comedy and cooking. Just makes me happy.

What determined you to make this think of only living in the moment?
