Ha. It could go from 30 minutes, to days, to weeks. It all depends on what mood I am in or if I have fallen into a slight depression. In my healthy state of mind, usually a shorter period of time (30 minutes to maybe some hours).

One more page…. Right now I am colouring in, & have been doing all day. It’s the same if I’m reading a book (or blogs, or facebook, or LinkedIn), a general reluctance to stop doing something & do something else.
The stuff you’ve been avoiding suddenly becomes extra super important Right Now but only because something pressing needs to be done instead, right now.
Endless scrolling through social media… Even over things I’ve already seen. It takes a true surge of Will power or energy to break the cycle and get back on track… After that even something as small as putting on a load of washing seems like a good achievement, thus giving me motivation to do more.
Very interesting! So after you put loads of will power or energy to break the cycle and you accomplish one small thing, you feel motivated to work on more things to get them done?
Usually yes! Especially if I have a written to-do list, getting one small thing done means I can possibly get another small thing done. My father has a good way of phrasing it: “getting monkeys off your back”
Definitely the most difficult part for me is breaking the cycle of scrolling. My mind can zone out that way… Pulling myself back from that can be near-impossible

Sitting here in my pj’s instead of taking a hot shower and actually putting on “real” clothes.
I wouldn’t be the first person around here to get groceries in pjs!

For me it looks like writing my blogs and poetry for hours on tumblr and here, ignoring my piling notes for work, and blasting Annie Lennox , getting lost walking in the woods or taking photos- avoiding dishes and boring things … lol adulting in general outside of work that is .
I’ll let you know tomorrow.
Good one! 😀
Ok, I’ll be waiting :))))
An hour (or 2) browsing Amazon and Ali Express usually! Lol!
What’s the most weird thing you’ve seen for sale on these websites?
I’ll tell you later.
How much later?
Laying on my phone. Listening to an audiobook. Watching YouTube. Visiting friends. Really anything other than cleaning or working 😂
How long does this “process” usually take? :))

A never-ending one more page? 🙂
Doing other unrelated stuff so I will not feel guilty of not doing anything.
And you succeed in not feeling guilty?
Consciously, temporarily yes. Subconsciously, no. It always bothers in the background of my mind.
Like my worst enemy.
Lately, it f*cks me up too. At least, in some areas…
It’s the first thing I write on my to-do list; really satisfying to tick off.
That’s awesome! 😀
Best thing I’ve read about procrastination…
The stuff you’ve been avoiding suddenly becomes extra super important Right Now but only because something pressing needs to be done instead, right now.
True! It’s funny how procrastination can set the importance of the things we need to do.

Go in pj’s. You’ll make everyone’s day brighter.

Well, reading and writing is a nice way to procrastinate. Food for thought 🙂
It most certainly is !
Binge watching Veronica Mars. Two times. All three seasons plus the movie. New season coming this summer
Interesting! What do you like the most about this show?
Everything! If you haven’t watched it, i highly recommend it. https://winter1137sblog.wordpress.com/2018/09/03/veronica-mars/?preview=true
Watching too much movies and video, talking silly, sleeping unnecessarily. Doing nothing apart from doing something much more important
What can help you having a different perspective about the things you need to do?
Priorities I guess, knowing what is more important
That’s easy. Don’t look like nothing happenin’ here.
Ignoring the ignorance. That’s a way to look (or don’t look) at things 🙂
