  1. You fight, you pray, you cry, you give it to God. You allow yourself to feel whatever you are feeling and face it. Once you face it, you can get through and move forward.

  2. Honestly, my mom played a huge role in uplifting our spirits when things seemed hopeless, but other than that it was one thought I constantly ran through my head, “I’ve been through worse”, that simple phrase allowed me to grip reality once again, remember that nothing comes easy and most important of all, appreciate all things I’ve gained now that im not at my “worse”, quite a spell that phrase was lol.

  3. My mental illnesses have this ‘autopilot’ mode. I got through all of middle and high school with it. But there’s a catch, i don’t remember much about that time

  4. We’re having a pretty rough time right now. Money is super tight, and I’m barely making enough to pay my bills. All I can do is get to the end of each day and hope that maybe tomorrow will be the day something changes.

  5. All throughout my life I used anger to drive myself through difficulties. I’m older now and since I’ve realized that anger isn’t the healthiest choice I’ve turned to prayer and exercise, especially since my surprise recent diabetes diagnosis. That really scared me since I have/had no risk factors (no family history, not overweight, and so on).

    1. Anger throws us into the fight or flight mode and too much in it affects our internal organs. I’m glad you managed to switch from that to something calming. What made you do this change?

      1. But sometimes I don’t bother looking because I’m not ready. I need to fully embrace why I am depressed. No matter what I wear isn’t going to change it. So, dive right into what causes your depression. You don’t need clothes or this or that to take you out of it. You need you.

  6. Just thinking about my sons and how they need me here no matter what. When they were not born yet…I just figured that if I don’t care for myself nobody will, and nobody really did in my hard times. I had to move on no matter what. Stopping was not an option.

  7. Made myself think that after this hardship, there’s something nice and great waiting for me out there. And I have to say that it’s pretty hard especially when you’re in that situation yourself.

  8. I reassess my circumstances to see how I can make them better. I choose the path that is easiest on my feet. My shoes are worn out from previous journeys.

  9. I just said myself all is well, all is well…Then, I feel very strong inside me…And I try to keep smiling… Because it’s like a medicine ….😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😉🤩😉🤩😉🤩😉🤩😉🤩🤩😉🤩😉😉🤩😉🤩😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀🤩😀🤩😀🤩😀🤩🤩😀😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😌😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

  10. I agree with some of the comments on here. I definitely have to do one day at a time. I tell myself that tomorrow will be a different day; therefore, a new chance to make myself feel better.

  11. Different things at different times. Most recently, I started my blog. I found it more beneficial than writing a journal – I’ve always been a bit of an attention seeker!

    1. I wouldn’t say attention seeker, but when we see that there are other people thinking the same or going through similar things as we do, can give us hope that life is not that shitty as we might think.

      1. So true. Everything is easier when we feel like we’re part of something bigger than ourselves.

  12. Well, for starters a job that pays enough to live on … you know pay bills and but groceries rather than one or the other. I don’t even have that many bills. Just basics – rent, utilities, a car payment, insurance and a few other small odds and ends.
