There isn’t one method for everyone but, for me, it required being honest with myself. I tried to improve myself as much as possible while also accepting the flaws that come with my personality.
Every second of it. I do not believe in regrets. While I hated certain moments (near divorce, struggles with anxiety and uncertainty, etc.), I would not have the perseverance and peace of mind to overcome them in the future had I not experienced them earlier. We live our lives at the improv, making it up as we go. Grasping that concept has alleviated much of the anxiety and stress from uncertainty.
My past is a treasure of experiences.

Of course we can dissapoint ourselves… sometimes the truth (or what we think it’s the truth), it’s too hard to bear
