Why did I instantly think of the song, what is love baby don’t hurt , don’t hurt me no more. Love to me is not what you say it is what you do. You can only feel love when you first mentally set out to develop it whether with a tangible or intangible thing. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply So would you say that love is triggered by a mental decision? LikeLike Reply Yup yup LikeLiked by 1 person Everything, in every facet of life. To my better half, to my children, to my work, to where I am, to the Sunday drive. Love provides the passion for life. But I forget from time to time and worry about the small crap. But I usually come back to my senses. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply Awesome! I think it happens to all of us to forget from time to time and worry about the small crap. That’s the root cause for our negativity… LikeLike Reply It means feeling comfortable to share your world with someone that appreciates it without judgment. LikeLiked by 5 people Reply The “without judgement” is the hardest part nowadays. LikeLike Reply This is a tough one for me to answer. I don’t feel like I know what love is. I mean I love my family and will kill to protect them. But I’m pushing 50 and have never been married, and I haven’t dated anyone since 2000 because every “romantic” relationship I’ve ever had was a colossal failure. LikeLiked by 4 people Reply Yaaa that is true but for being happy and finding love u don’t always need to date someone, coz sometimes just a few ppl in our life can make us feel special which many a times our romantic partner could not do for us. However great thoughts ! LikeLiked by 2 people Reply That’s tough. In your opinion, why were those relationships colossal failures? LikeLike Reply My son’s father cheated on me with anything in a skirt. The last guy I dated only wanted to date me to get closer to my married best friend and when he got her, I was no longer useful to him. The first guy I ever dated seriously was the best relationship. However, I was doomed to failure when I moved from Florida back home to Wyoming and he turned out to be gay (he was still a great guy, and we remained friends until he died tragically, but he wasn’t exactly the best relationship material for a hetero girl.)
