Love to me is not what you say it is what you do. You can only feel love when you first mentally set out to develop it whether with a tangible or intangible thing.
Everything, in every facet of life. To my better half, to my children, to my work, to where I am, to the Sunday drive. Love provides the passion for life. But I forget from time to time and worry about the small crap. But I usually come back to my senses.
This is a tough one for me to answer. I don’t feel like I know what love is. I mean I love my family and will kill to protect them. But I’m pushing 50 and have never been married, and I haven’t dated anyone since 2000 because every “romantic” relationship I’ve ever had was a colossal failure.
Yaaa that is true but for being happy and finding love u don’t always need to date someone, coz sometimes just a few ppl in our life can make us feel special which many a times our romantic partner could not do for us. However great thoughts !
My son’s father cheated on me with anything in a skirt. The last guy I dated only wanted to date me to get closer to my married best friend and when he got her, I was no longer useful to him. The first guy I ever dated seriously was the best relationship. However, I was doomed to failure when I moved from Florida back home to Wyoming and he turned out to be gay (he was still a great guy, and we remained friends until he died tragically, but he wasn’t exactly the best relationship material for a hetero girl.)

Its the most essential thing in life to grow.
for me love is selfless, free from expectation and superficial attachments .love is faith, trust ,understanding. It’s the power to see a person above his flaws. Love is that important thing that gives me the purpose to do something in life.
Anything that needs to be sacrificed for the one loved.
