      1. I like all days to be like that but that’s impossible so I have to remember on days that don’t go well that perfection is not possible and to give myself a break.

  1. If I get into bed at the end of the day with a smile on my face, content and without the weight of the world on my shoulders, it’s been a good and a productive day

      1. Happiness is maybe the wrong word I’m looking to use, cuz happiness is a fleeting emotion like anger, but contentment, knowing that I’ve not wasted a day, boxes have been ticked and I’m being productive … maybe satisfactory is the word I’d use. I think there’s a certain sense of joy you get from that.

      1. It’s taken a long time but I’ve learn to let everything go esp when it comes to bed time. I lose myself in a book and ignore reality for a while lol but generally, even on the hard days, I’ve learnt to find the good in the challenging.

  2. The best way to measure success is not by making comparisons. Everyone is in search of their own personal legend and it wouldn’t be fair to yourself to make an average based on someone else. You have to learn to be happy with whatever progress YOU are making. As long as I am never static, everyday is a day well spent.

    1. I love this -> “As long as I am never static, everyday is a day well spent.” And yes, it is very important not to compare with others. We need to compare with ourselves, our goals and our potential.

  3. Do I have my health? Are my family and friends well? Did I do the right things along the way and did I make good use of the time? If these are accomplished, I’m fulfilled. Oh yeah, a good number of laughs along the way is a good one to have on the list also.

    1. Well, without the laughs, it would be a sorrow life, don’t you think? You have some awesome “indicators” here! Thank you for sharing!

  4. I always feel most fulfilled when I’m able to make someone smile or laugh specially when that someone is depressed or having a bad day. Seeing them happy, makes me happy, too. And it’s a good day!

  5. A productive day at work, some time to relax and to dedicate to my loved ones, accomplishing my to-do-list. Satisfaction lies in simple things, apparently!

  6. As Long as I feel content at the end of the day and my 2 cats are happy. I can’t really ask for more apart from better health.

      1. Thank you, I think I’m lucky becoming ill and having to give up a very well paid job, I have learnt to make the most out of the small thing. Like a lovely sunset watching the birds in the garden and watching what my cats get up to. To stop and finally take the time to smell the roses.

  7. I did at least 80% of what I set out to do for the day.
I connected meaningfully with at least 3 people (those I love or strangers)
I stop and think about at least one thing that made me lucky today.

And that is how I know I felt fulfilled today. And I am! 🙂

      1. That’s hard because my daily schedule changes. I achieve it 100% or more 4/7 days and 50% 3/7 days so 80% is the inbetween xDD Any advice on getting that more stable?

      2. I teach at an academy so most days I work in the afternoon till nighttime but some days I have off/etc. I guess it’s just a matter of time management!

  8.
