I think it would be a bad thing. I shared a similar question with a friend a couple of years ago, and his answer was that the way humanity is we would most definitely compete in who is better at thinking the same and thus create chaos.
I think we should, instead, learn to accept our differences, understand them, then interlock them a million times over to create something better.
