Happiness makes me a child . And tension frustrating condition makes me an old lady.

Sometimes it reminds me of the movie Ants where a stick falls across their path unexpectedly and all the ants balk not knowing what to do. Then I hear the calm voice of reason: just go around a different way. Or go over. It’s all good! Have a new situation? Learn a new way through.
It really does depend on the situation and the framing of the situation. If I encountered a stampede of people running I would have to evaluate if it were a race, or a health hazard. (And even then, these old knees aren’t running!) I believe, although this may be completely self serving, for the most part, I react with curiosity.
I immediately let my guard up and become very focused on what’s going on around me, so that I can gauge how to get out of the situation the fastest and least messiest way as I possibly can.
Not always, but it works majority of the time. I’ve been doing it so long that I’ve become an expert at it. Lol

Friendly, open-minded, curious, learning, observing, offering & looking for support…if I am nervous, I try to make others laugh / smile …also to help myself by creating a positive atmosphere.
Well, if it sounds like it’s going to be a good situation (seminar for work), I’ll be nervous and excited. If it sounds bad/scary situation (recent diagnosis of cancer), I will act stoic until I’m by myself and then I’ll break down.
i behave just like a small child when he got some new toys.and sometimes like an old lady waiting to die. it depends on the situation.
Very interesting! What’s different from one situation to another?

Yes! Each situation is a new occasion to learn something new!
Nice post

There are worse ways to react than with curiosity 🙂
Observing and learning. This is the only powerful thing.
I totally agree 🙂
I immediately let my guard up and become very focused on what’s going on around me, so that I can gauge how to get out of the situation the fastest and least messiest way as I possibly can.
Does this always work?

Awesome approach! 😀
I behave thinkative (Don’t know if its a word) and relatively calm around situations. Nice question <3
Nice behaviour 😀
Like a shy kitten
So do you run away?
Can be nervous apprehension – or adventure
What makes the difference between the two?
It depends what type of situation? Personal or work related. Good or bad situation. The reaction will be different
Yes, it does. Which ones are the most challenging? Personal or work related?
Observe…then Act…
Nice approach!
Like i am behaving rn? I try calming my mind firstly and then thinking about the subject
I think that’s the best approach 🙂
Yea.. i think the same 🙃
Quite cautiously, considering all possible outcomes and aspects of the situation
How helpful is that for you?

How come you act stoic in front of others and then you break down when you’re by yourself?
Because I don’t want people to feel even worse for me than they do…it makes me terribly uncomfortable.
