I figure it is like a breathing cycle, knowing we get a rest in between, we can take on a lot and then relax a lot and so on, and so on, from daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cycles….maybe
I just left that place and find some quite peaceful place and start making myself laugh . Either by remembering happy, funny moments or by cracking jokes . This is also helpful in removing others boredom also..♥♥♥
Not very well. I get restless when I’m bored, so I may pace, work on something not very important and obsess over it, or look at social media for no reason.
Books, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, Netflix, music, going out with friends. I think there are not enough hours in a day to get bored and turn to my hobbies for consolation. One has to work though, so..
i have trouble understanding why people get bored.
as soon as i put my kindle down, i start making basslines with a low frequency ossilater then i write or go up the woods. i feel overwhelmed with choice. when my eyes start to cross and i cant carry on, i sleep for 3 hours and start again. i rarely feel down or empty. i need constant stimulation. Although i took steroids for a bit and felt so charged up that i didnt know what to do with my self, ended up putting my copper collection in the 2p machine at the arcade but got frustrated. I think ive bombarded this site a bit and im a bit manic so i should go. ive enjoyed it . its a possitive site and this is all new to me bit of a novelty.
OK I’m back, thanks. I had been writing stuff down on multiple sites for hours and neglected eating, drink toilet etc. I got really focused then kinda snapped out of it.
Go the opposite side and get stressed, of course!

tbh I am rarely bored. I keep busy all the time. I do private work now and I write. It should be hard to be bored if you are writing. -Robert

I find something…anything to do or talk to. I should appreciate it, but my thoughts get the best of me. It’s better if I stay busy.

And with kids and a business in place I guess it’s not hard to stay busy.

I go online and buy something regardless if I need it or not. Or go on yelp to look for places to eat. I have terrible habits 😂

boredom can make me anxious so i try to avoid it, but if it’s looming, reading or watching an episode of a well-loved television show helps.

Yes, it seems that there is some sort of anxiety or energy in boredom 😕

Boredom is a lack of stimulation so you need to do something different to combat it.

And I guess it doesn’t really matter what that thing is. If it’s not pleasant, the boredom will be replaced with anxiety.
