I always look forward to these questions of the day. Lol My ideal day would consist of a morning run, an hour of writing, work (until 4:00 PM), time with nature, dinner with family, an hour of reading, and a perpetual flow of coffee. ☕️️ Thank you for asking! 😃
Have coffee on the deck and watch the ocean, feed the cats, write some, nap – at some point return to the deck/patio for dinner and the ocean again. Really, it’s all about getting out of a landlocked area!
For mental and general health. When one doesn’t get enough sleep, the whole life schedule gets messed up. Including ones digestion. It’s essential. Cheers!
An ideal schedule in my ideal world?! I’m pleased you asked! 😂 My rechargeable twin self would get up and do a selection of my housework whilst I have a lie in to recharge myself! Then once I get up my twin self goes back on charge and I have the rest of the day to do as I please! Presuming this is a weekend day, probably clean and photograph items from the latest Bootsale I’ve attended or be at a Bootsale! WOOHOO!
I look forward to these questions as well! I’d sleep in. Exercise, eat a lazy breakfast, write. Then it would be nap time. Then write and play! I could go to bed whenever I wanted. I wouldn’t have to take the day off just to make and keep appointments. Flexibility. Yes
Flexibility is good! 😊 Or at least a predictable schedule that allows for planning other things in life. I’ve gotten to where I have to take a day off from work to be able to keep appointments because my schedule is so unpredictable.
Hmmmm… If it would be possible to work only 5 hours instead of 10 during the week, I’d get in early to work, come home for an afternoon siesta, then have the rest of the day for free time (reading, bingeing tv, spending time with family and now that the apartment pool is open, getting some sun). I’ve gotten to the age where afternoon napping would really increase my productivity (I’m officially my mother).
I’m learning to prioritise myself and not wake up to get ready for work …. easier said than done. So, after a bit of research, I’m waking up early for ME, which is actually a bit wonderful 😊
I’m doing things that make me happy to be me in the morning and am in the middle of learning to make it a routine (21 days and 90 days etc) so I’ll never have to wonder where I stand with myself 😊
Obviously that means I need to get to bed very early and can’t spend too much time on the Internet ….. I guess, it looks like, I’m worth that bit of sacrifice for me 😊
So these days, I wake up, snuggle with my dogs, light candles and incense for myself, sit in front of my vision board (that’s got nothing to do with what I want to achieve or things I want to accumulate) meditate, do my asana practice, walk the dogs and eat a gorgeous breakfast …. then slowly and mindfully, I get ready for work
It takes planning ahead and putting aside a lot of distractions to be in the flow in the morning
I do have days when I just can’t wake up at all and lay in bed past the time I want to get up, watching Wendy Williams and reading the latest gossip on Meghan Markle and then have to get up for work after all
Happily though, these “off” days are getting fewer …. so yay me! 😊
Doing what’s most needed at the time. The day will be good if I can have some time for only myself. I need some time with ‘just me’. Not any fixed schedule.
Sleep until 7:30.
Get up. Have coffee and eggs for breakfast. Or toast and peanut butter.
Research for a couple of hours. Listen to music. Write an article.
Have some lunch. Go for a stretch or walk.
Do some cleaning…because in this dream I’d work from home.
Putz around for the rest of the afternoon. Maybe exercise a bit.
Have some dinner.
Putz around some more. Go out with friends. Watch a movie.
Sleep.
Repeat.
Get work done early, nap in afternoon, play the rest of the day! 😂

Lately, I only prepare myself for work in the morning. I used to wake up earlier to work on some of my plans, but I find it very hard lately…

Most of the time, it is little things. For example, not doing something productive, like watching silly videos.
