I am a very active listener when I talk with my friends. I mainly give them words of encouragement, especially when they seem to be struggling.
I empower my friends, often using myself as an example. I never thought I would be an author one day, but all my hard work paid off. The same thing can happen for them. They just have to be strong and persistent. I let them know I’ll be there every step of the way to support them. 🙂
I give words of encouragement as well and tell them as loud as I can. I talk about how life will be way once they reach they’re dreams. How if they’ll let themselves reach out of their comfort zone. 🙂

I talk to them about their dreams. Whether they’re day-dreams they just want to indulge dreaming about or whether they are actually wanting to make them reality.
I don’t. What if their dreams suck?
Ouch
Who decides if their dreams suck?
I uplift them.
I prefer to be alone😳
You always preferred that or you got here at some point in your life?

That is very nice of you! 🙂 I think that using your own experience is a great way to see it’s possible.
Thanks!

Awesome! How often do they return for a new “shot” of encouragement?
Sometimes, too many times. They like me because I’m truthful.
I portray genuine interest and enthusiasm for their project. I want them to succeed, and I show it.
If they can sense your genuine interest and enthusiasm, they’ll have a huge boost of confidence!
Thank you 🙏

Oh yes! The power of example!
Great question! I try to be encouraging and provide support where I can. 😄
Very nice! The ones who struggle need it so much!
Encouragement and a touch of reality.
What kind of “touch of reality”? Something like “Don’t get your hopes up!”?
not that negative (don’t get your hopes up), but just some facts to know it can be a hard road and steel yourself for the journey.
Nice question.
I help them if they want and always motivate them in their bad times.
Thank you! It seems that they learned to come to you when sh*t goes down because you’ll be there for them. That’s what true friendship is! 🙂

I’m sure they feel great after they talk to you. People love to talk about their dreams!
