  1. Perfection to me means up to standard, generally and morally acceptable, without controversy. Of course, the actual meaning of perfection is far from this. But then, that’s all I expect

  2. It’s pretty much everything I’m not and wouldn’t want to be. It’s unrealistic. It’s our imperfections that make us human and likable.

  3. Hi All

Knowing that you will not be able to do perfectly in everything you do or believe in. And trying to be or deny otherwise is the enemy of doing the perfect thing at the perfect time.

The only thing you can control in the world is your thought, make it pure as you can and do your best. That is the real perfection.

Don’t aim to be perfect in everything you do, otherwise you will miss the chance to grow.

  5. Perfection is the conditional minimization and maximization of multiple tradeoffs, conditioned by a desired line of cleavage that serves as most appropriate for the situation in hand.

Seems that I’ve just defined it, which suggests that I’m a perfectionist !!

Well, true perfection is alike infinity, unachievable. Hence, for practical purposes, a cleavage line or area of choice is necessary to accept an admissible percentage of error.

Do not worry – human brain is not so accurate to sense 1.0% error so that a 20% would seem to easily satisfy.

Perfection is the focus that enhances concentration.

  6. My daughter when she was a baby. Having a drink with a friend on a summers evening. Lying next to a certain person. A sunrise or a sunset. Listening to Bach. Listening to Dido. My phone’s ringsong Something Else by Coldplay. My wedding.

  7. It’s an idea I’ve been trying to let go off. Perfect to me means making no mistakes. And living in that mindset has made me very unhappy. Now I just try to do my best and am working on being happy with that.

  8. Perfection is impossible, so instead of trying to be perfect you should push yourself as hard as possible while acknowledging that somewhere, someone is always going to be better at something than you are.
