Life is tough, but so are you!

As Gary Vaynerchuk likes to say, “we are tough as f*ck, but we are sold that we’re not because there is a lot of money at stake”. He is so right. In a world where money is the metrics, people would do anything to get their hands on some.

Think about this based on your own experience. Do you know somebody that would steal, kill, f*ck, s*ck, scream, or anything and everything is required to have some monetary gains? Media is full of such examples. The thing is there are smarter people that take advantage of the fear of loss and they tell us that we’re not good enough, smart enough, beautiful enough for this world so they can sell us things that can make us more beautiful or smarter. This creates the idea that we always need something to feel better, and that something usually involves money in one way or another.

Whatever sh*t you’ve encountered so far in your life, you overcame it one way or another. Maybe alcohol or drugs helped you. Maybe reading helped you. Maybe going to gym helped you. Maybe your friends helped you. Whatever it was, it got you through it without dying (btw, if there are any ghosts reading this, sorry… your issue was tougher than you).

As long as you still have blood in your system, as long as you’re still breathing, you’re a winner. Yes, the competition is still on, but you do have some power inside, otherwise you would be dead (ghosts, I know you are not powerless, but you have a different kind of power; please don’t hate me!).

Whenever things seem to get tough, remember that you can match and exceed that toughness. If not, at least you did everything you could and now you’re dead, so you shouldn’t care anymore. Everything you have now you once gained so everything you lose you can earn back. It’s all a matter of perspective!

When was the last time you won a confrontation with life?
