  1. I have to feel comfortable with them first, then I’ll share myself. Until then, I hold everyone at arm’s length. But then again, I have trust issues, so it takes a lot for me to feel comfortable with anyone. 🙂

  3. I’m working on being ME and not a version thereof, that is just appropriate in this setting or that. I know, there’s a healthy level of compartmentalizing, but there’s something to be said for not having to hide who you are. If that’s not right for some, then they are not right for me.

  4. It sometimes feels more comfortable to talk freely with someone I’m probably not going to see again, because I don’t have to worry about whether the impression they get of me will affect things in the future. It’s also easier to really talk to people who aren’t too sensitive about cursing or some of the weird stuff I like to talk about. 😛
