  1. Most of my time is on short term goals but usually those are part of long term efforts. Plus I want to have something to feel good about at the end of each day and that is why I break things down to smaller goals.

  2. Hello Bogdan, A belated welcome back to P. O. : ) As a parent, a lot of what I do is with an eye to the long-term, like raising our child bilingual, teaching life skills, and nutrition. As a writer, blogging is short-term, but related to my long-term goal of publishing books. Thanks for your quality, thought provoking questions as ever. -Rebecca

    1. Hi Rebecca! Thank you very much for your kind words! I’m so glad to see that your short-term goals are related to the long-term ones. That’s how we get sh*t done! 😀

  3. The only goal I have is living life while following my heart… 🙂

  4. I think just to be more happy and not worry too much. I also want to try to eat more healthy and get more sleep as I suffer from insomnia. So more time devoted to self-care 👍

      1. I worry a lot about the future, about other things and I suffer from on and off anxiety and depression. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I can’t go back to bed and it is the worst thing ever…

  5. All of it is spent towards long-term goals. For reason being I do not have any short-term goals at the moment, they were all achieved awhile back, now it’s just the hard stuff left to accomplish

  6. It’s about 50-50 for me. I’m a stay at home mom, raising two toddlers. Most days, I feel like I’m try to keep them alive from moment to moment, with a long term goal of having them grow into amazing, happy, mindful young men.

  7. Great question.

I have a number of overarching long term life goals which I should spend more time on… I actually spend most of the time on the short term goals of getting through each day raising my son to be happy and healthy while keeping my wife happy!
