What would you do if you were no longer afraid?

      1. Yes indeed, these times have made us realize life is so uncertain so I want to see more of the world before I leave!

  1. I’d probably sleep a little better and relax a bit. I would quit my current career and begin on my own. I’d see what one of those crotch rockets would feel like at 200mph. It’s funny though because being afraid isn’t always a bad thing. Cancer came to visit me a few times in my 50’s and gave me a new perspective on being afraid. Before that, I could be wasteful of my time. not since though because I’m afraid of what the next test might say.

    1. What a great list! And I very much appreciate your perspective on fear; sometimes there really is a silver lining within our darkest moments. 🕊

  2. Without fear there would be no reason for courage. Fear is natural for survival it’s our response to it that creates issues like, dishonesty, bigotry, hatred, violence, etc. Love is the perfect answer to fear, but I stumble often remembering.

  3. When I am no longer afraid, I will explore my community more fully. The pandemic began just after we moved here last February. I hop to soon have visits with family and friends ans get married. My second shot was two will soon be fully effective, but my fiance is not taking the vaccine because of drug intolerences. Hope you are well! <3

    1. Yes! I too, am hoping to really connect with my community. (Post-pandemic, of course.) I think many of us have learned just how valuable those people, events, and hobbies can be! Hope you are well, my friend.🕊

  4. Without fear I would no longer grow. Everytime there is fear there is an opportunity. Tackling fears is the best thrill in life and the most rewarding

    1. So. 👏🏻 True. 👏🏻
Perhaps it’s about finding that sweet spot: feeling a discomfort you’d like to change, but not being too afraid to act. 🕊

  5. Funny Bunny! You are assuming I fear, which I do, but not any ‘fear of’, but rather ‘fear for’, which is different, I believe. For myself? I fear nothing. REally! I give not two damns. For others though, this is different. I do have fears for my kids, as I still feel as if I can protect them from falling, making bad decisions, dating Mr or Ms Totally Wrong. So, does that mean I fear my own obsolescence? No, I am annoyed by that, but not afraid, because if i am obsolete for them, it means I have done my job and raised them to be independent and confident. No, I fear for them, because I want to spare them various pains we all go through at some point. Momming it like a bossy boss, alas. We have an Understanding, and McD’s has a new caramel McFlurry thing you might want to try out. 🙂

    1. Dude. You’re my favorite. 👏🏻
And I have no doubt you’re ‘momming it like a bossy boss’. I hope to do the same.
(Oh, and I’ll definitely be trying that caramel McFlurry! 🙈)

  6. I would be the best version of myself there ever was and I would just do everything I wanted without questioning it!

  7. Well…Everything what’s possible. Obviously now almost all are afraid of this pandemic but I have had many fears before it too… but I do think that those other fears will get easier after this pandemic or atleast it’s easier to live with those. This fear has been so exceptionally crippling. I think nothing after this will feel as bad or scary! Can’t wait it happen!

  8. Write! More and wide varieties of things! Share them with even more people without the fear of what they would think or what I would think in return!

Make music and share that with others! Not worried about it sounding ‘the best’, because if I’ve spent time crafting it, then it will be what it supposed to be!

Thank you for the question and encouraging thought about our own answers. 😊
