Inside this chest pounds a heart so steady.

Inside this head lives a brain so alive.

And somewhere in between rests a spirit so gentle, even the tiniest of scratches leaves a scar.

. . .

How would you describe your spirit, Dear Reader?

What inspires you? What shakes you to your core?

(Such easy questions to answer, I know!)

  1. Beautiful post πŸ¦‹πŸŒΈ. Questions that certainly gets you reflecting! Nature definitely inspires me and also calms my spirit (whatever my spirit is).. You have me thinking about it now πŸ˜‰πŸ’–

  2. That is a really beautiful picture!

My spirit is a cage fight between a Celtic war Queen, pure unbound love, and torrential fear that has been smashed into an inescapable nut shell. I’m inspired by acts of kindness and compassion, and I as a whole am shaken to the core (though my inner Celtic war Queen at least is not) by those who feel no concern at causing suffering in others.

I really enjoyed your prose, and those were very thought-provoking questions πŸ™‚
