  1. Intuition. Sort of. But then reason gets into the fight and it’s anyone’s guess which will win.
I usually have a headache at this point.

  2. On an average day, it’s a fair mix. When I’m cooking, it’s intuitive. When I’m trying to make something creative, it’s a bit of both; because things have to be planned in order. And reasoning comes into the day when trying to make the choices simpler. Plans are great. So can impulses. It’s knowing when to follow each is important.

  3. Hmmm. If it’s something creative – cooking or otherwise, I can generally adar[t or overcome if there’s a screw up. Of people can have grilled cheese for dinner 😛 With other topics, like, timing the drive to pick up my husband – I have to reason time v/s the stress of traffic and heat. So is Option A, B or C going to cause me the least stress? If I need a list for what I’m doing, reasoning is coming into play – even if it’s the week’s menus. What leftovers can be re-used?
(many apologies for taking up so much page)

    1. No reason to apologies. I’ve noticed that you talk a lot about cooking. Is it very important to you or you just do it a lot?

      1. A bit of both. I enjoy a cooking challenge – been meaning to try my hand at croissant for ages. Making a mess that comes out delicious is a happy feeling.

      1. It is funny because I double checked my spelling beforehand and yet it still came out wrong 🤔🤣

    1. In this case, the book Gut Feelings: The Intelligence of the Unconscious by Gerd Gigerenzer is for you! 😀

  4. If my mind says this isn’t right thats intuition for me and I go by that and no amount of reasoning works there.
And for silly things I rely on reasoning!

    1. If you want more insights about intuition, you can check out this book Gut Feelings: The Intelligence of the Unconscious by Gerd Gigerenzer.

  5. intuition. I am starting to develop that part of me, Reiki, Tarot, crystal healing…
Then sometimes I reason it out when I’m explaining it to others.
